2 years ago today I became...I mean, I cosplayed...Captain Marvel at Magfest 2020.
Today I feel so much stronger - both mentally and physically - than I was this day.
Behind that smile was someone who doubted everything about herself, needed external validation on her appearance, and consciously chose to skip meals because she was worried what her stomach would look like in her outfit.
It's insane how much can change in 2 years.
Growth, both physical and mental, is painful and meticulous, but the outcomes are worth it.
If you're in the process of making big changes, stay the course.
If you're looking to get started, be ready for the rollercoaster.
Go fearlessly into the future like the superhero you are!
I can't wait to rock another cosplay when the plague passes!!
