Today marks...ready for this?
DAY 600 of doing a 15 minute, 400+ rep ab routine I challenged myself to do every day since December 1, 2019. 🎉
Out of 606 days, I've completed my task at a 99% success rate.
Did I want to do this every day? Absolutely not, but I still did it.
Was it hard to fit it into my schedule? Sometimes, but I made the time.
I stuck to this challenge because I made a commitment to myself to do something every single day for a year.
When that year anniversary came, I just kept going because it no longer felt like a huge task - it became part of my daily routine.
I didn't want to physically do the work every day.
I didn't solely rely on will-power.
On challenging days, my routine might have been slower than normal, but I still got it done. I reminded myself that I committed to something and no one is holding me accountable but ME.
So on days where you're tired of sticking to a new eating style you're adapting, or when you don't feel like exercising, remember: you owe it to yourself to see your challenges through and to hold yourself accountable to your commitments.
No matter what, when things get hard...we don't quit.
In time, the results speak for themselves.
