Things I could never do when I had a bad relationship with food: eat a doughnut on a weekday.
Things I did this morning: ate a doughnut on a weekday.
My relationship with food was so bad for so long that anything remotely 'bad' outside of my one cheat day a week sent me into a downward spiral of starvation and cardio as punishment for my 'mistake'.
And if I ate it outside of my intermittent fasting window? God help us all...
Looking back, it was horrible to feel guilt nonstop. I never want to be like that again, and never want anyone I coach to feel like they need to restrict either.
When you work with Dead Set...
🍩 No food is off-limits (unless you have an allergy!)
⏲ Your eating isn't restricted to certain time periods
👍🏻 Food doesn't have a stigma assigned to it - fun food is not 'bad'!
🎉 You won't need cheat days
🏃🏼♀️ We exercise because we enjoy it and want to give back to our bodies, not to punish ourselves
✅ If you're watching what you eat 80% of the time while you make new habits, you can cut yourself some slack and enjoy your life for the other 20%.
You deserve a donut - and a coach that encourages healthy, balanced habits!
