Legs Up The Wall!



Yesterday's post-run assisted stretch session with my little old man ❤



Laying flat on your back with your legs up the wall after a stressful, long day on your feet:


▪️Promotes drainage from excess fluid build-up and assists circulation by facilitating the return of blood back to the heart



▪️Stretches your hamstrings, glutes, spine, and hips while taking pressure off of your back


▪️Relieves pressure and tightness on the lumbar (lower back) region, while also relaxing muscles in this area


It only takes about 10 minutes of laying like this to feel better for the rest of the day.


And if you have a very affectionate chihuahua who thinks it's his job to lay on top of you every time you're on the ground, that time flies by 😍
