We added this ridiculous holiday mailbox to our Christmas display with hopes that we could bring some cheer to those who need it most.
I'm overwhelmed with joy to report we have collected 321 handwritten holiday cards that will go directly into the hands of senior American Veterans in nursing homes and long-term care facilities via the DAV.
Some cards were written by children (some included lovely drawings, too!) that truly brought tears to my eyes while I was scanning through and sealing them.
I was hoping we would get around 100 cards. WE GOT 321!! 🥲
To those who participated, THANK YOU for not just participating in our drive, but blowing our personal goal out of the park! We are so grateful for your efforts.
We will be delivering these 321 future smiles to the DAV this afternoon.
We are looking forward to making this a new annual tradition 🎄
